If you really want some eye candy check out gnome 3. I just loaded it in a separate partition with SUSE 11.4.
I have no clue as to how stable it will be but its quite amazing.Still going to use 10.10 for my everyday use and server but IMHO that's the direction they should have taken with Natty.

Agree gnome 3 is a lot better then unity.Unity will not load on my system and a web search just shows bug after bug.Kind of makes you wonder what is going on.
