What mp4/mp3 player would you recommend that will function on Ubuntu? I have a Zune which obviously does not work as the software is incapatable.Is there an alternative to the ipod (Apple)?

SanDisk has been pretty good about including MSC functionality, as well as handling of Ogg Vorbis.

Personally, I would go for a slightly used Fuze and install Rockbox on it.
