How do I setup SLIP in Xubuntu? I need to establish a simple IP connection between a Windows CE device and an Xubuntu box, over USB, without the overhead of installing SynCE. Apparently Windows CE supports SLIP in its network connections, so I'm trying to go with that.

That being said, I have no clue how SLIP works. My guess is that I need to setup some kind of SLIP daemon on the Xubuntu box and wait for the Windows CE device to "dial in". Is that correct? Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a daemon called "slipd" and I can't find any thing relevant in the official documentation of Ubuntu.

Will somebody be able to help me out?
