I have two partitions on my 100 GB hard drive (not sure if size would matter) I made my Ubuntu partition 60* GB, and my Backtrack 5 40* GB. (* meaning that its close to that size, theres logical memory and all the like)

Whenever I go to additional drivers in Ubuntu, and try to turn on the broadcom sta driver, the wireless goes out on itself. Originally, to configure my 4311 card to ubuntu, i used b43-fwcutter and the firmware installer for 11.04 and after a restart it worked!

now for backtrack 5, it doesnt work at all but it detects the wired network whenever i decide to connect my ethernet to it. I tried reinstalling and uninstalling drivers and no progress is coming out of it. does anyone think the drivers are conflicting, or is it just backtrack 5's fault and I need to pay a visit to their forum?
