I see a lot of screenshots where ppl have their system info basically pasted on their wallpaper (transparent) how would I go about doing that? this guy has it basically the way I want it

thanks in advance

I am running blackbuntu ubuntu 10.10 (I may upgrade to 11.04, I may not)

It's a system monitor, most likely conky. I use it myself with my Fluxbox setup. If you do a Google search, you'll get more wikis, guides and forum threads than a human being can possibly handle. Here's (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=867076) a beginner's guide to start you off.

one more quick question, I got conky going, now how do I move it so that it is not in the middle of my screen? I can't find any instructions on how to do that from google.. this isn't making sense to me, I have alignment set to top right and it is in the middle.. weird.. also I have used several different configurations.. and it is always the same thing...

check out my desktop... yucky
