Ubuntu Fonts

Hello,
I was wonder what font ubuntu uses?

i wouldent mind doing some ubuntu related design. it could be a pretty sweet idea for whoever takes care of the art stuff to make a pack with the font/s and vectorised logo/s for other people to do some authentic looking work :)

sorry if this has allready been done, please give me a kick in the correct direction if i'm out of line.
