"Time brings all things to pass." - Aeschylus Ubuntu announced its 6.06 Server release 5 years ago, on June 1,2006. For the LTS Server releases, Ubuntu committed to ongoingsecurity and critical fixes for a period of 5 years. The maintenanceperiod has now ended for Ubuntu 6.06 LTS Server. Ubuntu 6.06 LTS was a major milestone for the Ubuntu project, being thefirst long-term release.
