Linux is not like MS Windows -- you don't go hunting around for drivers for motherboards; instead, when you install Ubuntu, it scans your hardware and loads the proper drivers automatically.

If you're not getting sound, then open a terminal and enter "lspci" -- to get a list of your hardware. Post that info back here when you're done.

Thank you for your help I am new to Linux. I got my sound working asus had a driver I installed through a terminal. The question I have now how can I create sub folder's in the applications? So Im not looking through tons of Icons to find the one Im after. Second I have a game that must be executed within a terminal how can I make an Icon that will
open the terminal and execute a command line?
