using aircrackng

hey everyone. I am trying to learn how to hack wireless wep/wap 1/2 encryption using aircrackng on ubuntu 11.04. I have my own wap/2 encrypted wireless and i wish to crack it. Due to slow internet buffering here i couldn't buffer any videos and I couldn't find any useful instructions in the internet. can anyone please tell me how to crack the wireless.
