HOW TO SPEED UP DIAL UP INTERNET CONNECTION IN UBUNTU 11.04???? PLEASE HELP ME...I M WAITING...THANKS IN ADVANCE....:confused:

You're on dialup. Get used to downloading at about 4 KB/s.

People still use dial-up? well, Ubuntu doesn't have much to do with that. Contact your ISP and ask about a faster connection. Sorry we couldn't help.

but where i live, the speed becomes 20-28 kb/s... but for sometime it goes very slow..how can i keep the constant speed??.. and my OS is ubuntu 11.04

Well if you are using dial up, then there is no way to escape it. Better try to upgrading to some broadband plans.

i use ubuntu 11.04 with 24-28 kb/s..
