I'm using Ubuntu 10.04 and I noticed that if I customize my theme and change the pointers, then after applying any other set, all pointers (pointer when highlighting text, when highlighting url etc) change but the default pointer (arrow) doesn't. What's the problem?

I think that this may be caused by corruption of your preference files in your home folder.

Is your installation fresh, or did you upgrade from a previous version?

Can I fix it somehow?

My installation is fresh.

If it's a fresh installation, I don't see how it could be corrupted...

Are you using Unity or the classic Ubuntu desktop?

Have you rebooted?

Same problem here in 11.04. Brand new System76 nettop. Pointer changes only in window fields, not title bars or desktop. Rebooting, logging out all don't work. Thanks!

I have the problem too, with all installations. I hear it can be changed by changing some config files.
