Hi,

I'm new to Ubuntu 11.04. I'm trying to give my old pal " Prestigio Nobile 156 " a new life. The problem is that my wifi is not working. The message is "wireless is disabled by hardware switch". What kind of software or driver I need to get these hotkeys working?

Thanks in advance!

isn't there a physical switch on the case of the computer that you can slide to enable wireless? that's what is meant by hardware switch

alternatively you may be able to turn on wireless on startup (in bios) and not have to use the switch, that's what i did

The key is like a touch key and it is not working in Ubuntu.

I have managed to turn on the wireless by default from the bios and now my wireless is working. Thanks!

But my hotkeys still not working.
