Terminal server info / assistance

I currently have ubuntu server 10.10 (currently in the process of being upgraded to 11.04), I am looking to add a couple thin clients to the network and I guess I am just confused about a few things.

1. If I netboot the thin client from the server how can I enable a GUI on the thin clients but remain GUI-less on the server?

2. Top recommended software to do this? Should I just use what ubuntu comes with or is there a better third party app that makes this pretty painless?

Any other issues people have ran into? Or suggest? I have browsed google and nothing has seem to answer my question. Figured some guru's here could shed some light on the subject.

solved!!! I used FOG and boot a custom ubuntu desktop image. Not exactly the typical "thin clients" however it works just as good, and from what I have read there is a way to implement the traditional thin booting method via FOG.
