Problem with Freecraft and Stratagus

When I try to run freecraft or stratagus a black window appears and disappears immediately. In terminal, I get the error "Fatal signal: Segmentation Fault (SDL Parachute Deployed)". I am very new to Linux.

Hi,

I also got such messages, but only sometimes. Anyway, I found out that it's really better to run the (statically linked) freecraft/stratagus executables compiled by the freecraft/stratagus team. You can find stratagus executables on Stratagus' page at sourceforge.net .
At least, using them instead of the breezy binaries might be "quick" solution.
