Ok I have a dual boot at the moment and it wont be as soon as 11.04 is at stable release, but I'm hesitant to switch to 100% Ubuntu just because the wonderful overclocking I can enjoy on windows doesn't seem to be as simple for me in Ubuntu.
I'm using 11.04 beta 2 and I've tried coolbits by altering the x configuration file but the frequency tab in the nvidia settings still will not show, nvclock doesn't work at all either. Idk is it just incompatible with my graphics card at the moment maybe because mobile cards aren't as focused on by that many people compared to desktop cards or is there still hope?
And a random question, does nvclock only work with opensource drivers?

I am also having issues with this, albeit with an older card (GTX 285).

Any information on this would be wonderful.

Bump for relevancy!
