unmount built in webcam modules

hi, i have a built in webcam on my laptop, and want to use it in virtual box (windows 7 vm). however it wont let me use it as its still being used by the host apparently. so as far as i'm aware i need to unload the modules for it, so the vm can access it.however i have no idea how to do this?

i dont know how to find what modules its using. or how to unload these shud i find them...etc etc

can anyone help?
