View Full Version : UT2k4 Server Setup Assistance

So I'm fairly lost in setting this whole thing up atm. I have the .zip extracted to a directory and I'm looking to get the server going...however, most of the tuts I'm finding online are old and I don't have a ut2004.ini file to edit. Furthermore, how do I go about starting the server once I would edit that file?

Any links, help, and clarification would be great. Thanks.

the binary to start a dedicated serv is "ucc" with some arguments- read the README in the UT2004 directory

I've read the readme and it just says that ucc-bin is the file to use...However, I don't know where to edit the server name, etc., or how to setup a script to run the server. I'm very new to Linux.
