Ubuntu version 7.04
Motherboard : Gigabyte GA-H67M-D2-B3
BIOS Type/Date/Version: Award Modular v6.00PG
Processor : Intel Core i3-2100CPU - 3.10GHz
Chipset: Intel H67 chipset
Ram : Kingston 4GB
HDD : 500Gb seagate sata

Can i install Ubuntu version 7.04 on the above mentioned hardware? Will the on-board graphics and sound works?

No and probably not.

I wouldn't bother with a version so old. 10.04 is the latest LTS and 11.04 is out as well.

I'd go with 10.04, but then I'm an LTS kind of guy.

7.04 = April 2007

All support for 7.04 ended Oct. 2008, best to try the current release (10.10) or the new release coming later this month (11.04).

Is there any specific reason you want to install an obsolete version of Ubuntu on what looks to be up-to-date hardware?

Am going to install ubuntu 11.04 but still wondering if its work on intel Core i3 motherboard?
