hi,

i just bought a new Cinergy T stick black Terratec dvb-t reciever. on the other hand i have installed fresh new ubuntu 10.10 on my old laptop. so what i would like to do is to plug-in my dvb stick and watch tv.

but i don't know where to start. also the stick is not giving any life signs when i plug it in (but it is suppose to be working - since it just came from the shop)

i have never had any experience with installing or setting up these things, what i tried so far is to follow a tutorial for ubuntu 10.4 but this seam to not work. so i'm turning to you for help.

could anyone give me a hint ..... how ..... what ... to do to make it work

thank you !!!

You don't give much infomation about your USB stick. Suggest you search this Forum & Google for your USB stick "Cinergy T Terratec". Also post the output of: lsusb this may help Forum Members in solving your "How To Install" problem.
