hey guys,
I have an acer emachines netbook and I am looking to upgrade from 9.10. I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions or advice about strong points, weak points or flaws with newer versions of ubuntu. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Both 10.04 and 10.10 are mature systems, so I guess best advice is to try a live boot and pick the one that works best on your machine.

If you want Unity, 10.10 is the one to pick.

Thanks for the advice, I have just downloaded and installed 10.10. I must say that I like the Unity layout much more than the old one, thumbs up to the makers for that, and finally, I'm wondering if there are any particularly useful tips for a 10.10 noob.
cheers, gggecko:D
