I want to use Python to program a voice activated app instead of being forced to type in my search terms in my net browser.

I have seen some voice to text apps but I want to be able to say "computer"
"internet browser" and have my net browser open and then be able to say i.e. " todays news" or "news, today, weather" and see these words show up in my internet browser: news, today, weather

Then be able to say "fetch" and have the internet browser find these websites.

Thank you for reading this.

I am off to study the guides on programming.

Provided that you are able to get that voice translated to a processable form, you would just map them to a function and there you go.
