Question regarding Natty and Unity

I read that in Natty Narwhal, the Gnome environment will be replaced with Unity.
Will the Gnome apps still be there, or will they be replaced too?

So, my main question is: will the Gnome Applications Menu still be functional with Alt+F2 even after disabling all panels?

Hi,
The Gnome desktop is still there for the people who can't use the Unity desktop. Both desktops are already installed so you will have a choice between Unity and Classic Gnome. Both desktops share the same Gnome applications too.
