Hi,

I've tried searching for an answer to this and have not found anything conclusive. So I decided to post and ask once more before giving up.

I'm running Maverick 10.10 on an Asus 1201n.

I have the rtl819SEvA wifi card that seems to give everyone a headache.
What is annoying is that this card was working perfectly in 10.04 (I used matt prices PPA).

After upgrading to 10.10 i began to have connectivity issues. Basically I could connect to my home network (which is password with WPA)

After about 30 minutes of fine connection it will begin to drop and ask me to re-enter the password. At which point it will never connect again.
This cycle continues as often as I restart my computer ( I could probably restart the wifi with some command, but I don't know it).

I tried installing the realtek driver from their website (make install - etc...) It did not help.

Is there any good solution for this? Why do some people report asus 1201n "just works" out of the box on maverick? It clearly does not
any help is appreciated.
thanks.
