Problem with my repositories

Hey everyone! I have a small problem with my repositories. When I run 'sudo apt-get update', I get the following:

E: Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old ones used instead.
Apparently, some of my sources are no longer good and its giving me constant error messages when I update and when I try to install some programs. Should I just delete these sources? Is there anything to replace them with? Also, the lines highlighted green caught my eye. What do these 'get' lines mean?

The green is for your chrome browser updates. You can uncheck the ppa for the red one and it should work okay.

And that, darknuts, is because the URL:http://ppa.launchpad.net/ilap/lwp/ubuntu/dists/ does not contain a folder for lucid, only one for maverick, your system is telling you the truth. Perhaps there was one there in the past, you might try asking the person responsible for the ppa.
