Hey folks,

just installed UBUNTU 10.04. Mostly works great but I am having lots ot troubles with my wireless card. I have WPC54GS ver. 2 from Linksys. When I installed the OS, the hardware manager popped up and said that I should install proprietary driver for my card. I did and the card worked great at firs, but then started freezing the OS. Every time I would download something sizable from the NET, my computer would freeze.

I went and disabled the drivers that were downloaded and went the ndiswrapper route. Cannot get it to work as I am getting an error message saying that I have too many .sys files. Any clue anybody?

Thanks

Oh, and a follow up to it, I tried another WiFi adapter: Hornettek USB HT-H5DN before I started messing around with ndiswrapper. That one worked out of the box, but only for unprotected networks. If I try to connect to WPA or WPA2 network, it would not connect and keeps asking me for password over and over again.

Am I doing something wrong here???

Thanks
