ATI HDTV Wonder + tvtime + analog?

I've seen a couple of threads were people say they've got it working, but never how.

I'm running Ubuntu Studio 10.10 i386. I believe I have the correct firmware installed for the card, but tvtime does not find any channels during it's scan.

I've been looking for an answer to that question off and on for the last two years without success. I don't really need it working since all of the analog stations are also available digitally, but it bugs me to no end to have non-functional hardware in my system.
