View Full Version : [xubuntu] Flash videos RED after firefox update...

After firefox update to version 3.6.14 videos on youtube are in red color and firefox crashing...i get this error on crash http://pastebin.com/zcxaaR5n
I have xubuntu 10.10...

Try the Flash-aid addon for Firefox to remove any conflicting flash packages and re-install it.

@R33D3M33R same...
in version 3.6.13 flash works perfectly...i'm trying to reinstall firefox, install firefox 4, but nothing -.-
Videos are only red on youtube :|
When i block cookies from youtube.com all is fine but i can't login -.-

Just disable hardware acceleration in flash options. And I have only seen this on the opensource-radeon driver and only on youtube.

I can't uncheck "enable hardware acceleration" :|

Can you do it on some flash site other than youtube? Maybe some flash game that doesn't have the menu disabled.

Try from this page. This is where I was able to uncheck the settings->Hardware Acceleration box

Just right click on the page anywhere. Don't start streaming or anything.

Having the same problem with both Firefox and Chrome on Youtube.
