I was wondering where I could find out how to use regression analysis in libreoffice? I keep searching but there is nothing defined..

This (http://help.libreoffice.org/Calc/Array_Functions) might help you: open the page and do a search for 'linest'. Basically this is a function that returns a table of statistics for a linear regression.

I don't really know if non-linear models are included, but you could always try a transformation if needed.

Well here is the thing.. I don't know what a transformation is but I want to be able to run a regression analysis if this .dbf file I have. In windows you go to Data/regression etc... So in libreoffice its not that simple?

Well let me start from the top... I found the function so disregard the last post for the most part...

so I have Y data (A1:A1221)
X data (B1:B1221)

Is there a way to say add another X variable? Such as (C1:C1221) and then run a regression on that?
