Hi all,
Just got a new 24 inch monitor, and am using my onboard video (geforce 8200). With my old monitor, effects worked just fine, and the system was responsive. I shut down, swapped monitors, and tried the DVI first. Xorg was spiking my CPU. So shutdown, and put on the VGA cord. Xorg wasn't spiking as bad, but it was still very choppy. I adjusted the nvidia settings with vsync, and nothing still worked.
Anyone have any ideas?
