Hi everyone.

Can someone help me.
My problem is, (Ubuntu 10.10 32-bit), while using the HDD 52-53C is very hot.
Nothing extra data traffic can not be considered.
When I used Windows 7, temperature was only 40-41C.
My notebook type is ThinkPad SL510.
HDD -->WesternDigital 320Gb. ATA Device.

Thank you in advance for your answers.

Can you tell if the laptop fan is working correctly when in Ubuntu?

Hi.

The fan is working normally, the thermal conductivity of copper pipes are just the CPU and motherboard is connected.
The CPU temperature is 34-35 C, is perfect.
The HDD has a passive air-cooling.
I think, should buy a cooling panel under the notebook.
I looked at some model, -Thermaltake, -Cooler Master,
You know something reliable and efficient cooling-panel type.

Thanks.

I don't use such things but Thermaltake is a good company.
