server checks out but I can not open site

I run Ubuntu 10.10. I run either firefox 3.6 Namoroka (can't seem to remove it)
I also use seamonkey browser.
No issues until now.
I am having issues with my website ...I can not bring it up on either browser. I can not bring up my host website either.
All other sites work just fine.
I figure it's just that the host server is down so I thought I would check it out with host tracker. Both sites test fine there. I tried another free server checker online and that also tested fine with both my site and my hosts. My browser is tuned in to accept cookies, cache is dumped, tmp folder is dumped. Anybody have any ideas?

you mean both the sites are finein your browser, or just the one. In other words you can open webs.com?

now i can get into my site as well but not webs.com
seems very sporadic. Sometimes working sometimes not.
Before I reinstall or remove something, is it your expert opinion that it would be the server acting up?

Ok I've tried both sites with Namoroka, FF 4.0, Chromium & Opera and all opens fine on this end. (Nice MM site BTW)...LOL

Ok, I called a friend and its fine there too. I am stumped. I can not access my hosts site nor my site from any computer in this house. Two are on Linux and one is Win xp. Now what? any suggestions? I need to edit site.

I have access to both sites from ubuntu 10.10 standard install with firefox. I don't see why it's inaccessible to anyone else unless there is a problem with the isp or something.

I got in contact with my host. It is their end. problems with filtering multiple computers from single IP ?????
