I'd be enormously grateful if someone would tell me how to cause my thumb drive to throw up a window when inserted in a USB port. I remember using something in the Control Center to do that, but now I can't find it.
I'm using 10.10 with KDE 3.5.12(Trinity).
Thanks!

Perhaps it works better in Kubuntu? An old KDE with a new Ubuntu seems awkward at minimum.

Thanks, but it's not an old KDE. It's Trinity, a fork of KDE3.5, a project that aims to keep the functionality of KDE3 alive, for users who are dissatisfied with KDE4. I can see how that would have been confusing.
Anyway, still looking for a way to get my flash drive recognised.
