trust 1400 webcam

im totally new to ubuntu so any help will be much better appreciated put, shall we say simple :)

i have just switched to ubuntu, and i have a trust 1400 webcam ive installed cheese and works fine, however i cannot get the cam to work on things like omegle, chatroulette just wont pick it up at all, i have webcamstudio installed to but that doesnt even pick the cam up. any help please?

are these flash sites omegle, chatroulette

if yes go to the adobe site look for the settings manager
set the sites you use to allow and remember

ive done that

ive uninstalled and reinstalled flash

i tried it on msn it works on msn

im really lost as to what to do, i even found some things on here (people with the same problem) and they said put certain codes into Terminal i tried that still nothing....

only other thing i can think of is installing flash aid for fire fox
loving linux has a how to for it
