Why not just use one of the many Firefox extensions designed for this? When I used Firefox, Video DownloadHelper was my extension of choice.

When flash recently upgraded to 10.2, the file is no longer saved in the tmp folder. It is now in the cache folder of your browser, and is not that easy to find. Search the forum for it since it has been discussed and members had some good tips. There are also some firefox addons that will download and save flash videos.
