Hi, this looks to be a wonderful application/feature for Ubuntu.
One silly question though, How the hell do I use it in my browser?
I can see all the directories are set up, but what address/ip numbers do I input on the address bar?
Thanks. this is probably a simple solution...

Ok first ask yourself do you need to access ubuntu center from other places like school or work?
if you answered no and only want to access across your home network all you need todo is type in the command ifconfig on your ubuntu box and get the boxes IP address inside your network when you type ifconfig it will give you some output. Look for a line that says inet addr:192.168.1.? goto to 192.168.1.?/center and it should prompt for your password that you set during the install and you can start (hopefully) enjoying ubuntu center.
if you need to access from the outside world get your local ip using ifconfig like above and goto your router preference page, click port forwarding and forward port 80 tcp ucp to 192.168.1.? or whatever your local computer's address is.
sorry for the poorly written response, in a hurry

travis, I'm on a university network, and have no router to configure, how can I set it up to work. Currently the only way I can access it is from localhost/center. If I try 'myip'/center(even on my own machine) it hangs. If I try it elsewhere in university I get a timeout. :-k

Well if it doesn't work on your lan IP address your university must be blocking it or something. Thats really about the only thing I can think of, I assume the ip you are trying is one you got by running ifconfig on your box
