View Full Version : [ubuntu] Looking for audio program

I like to make and remix tracks, but I can't find any decent programs for Linux.
Any ideas or suggestions? Free would be awesome, but I wouldn't mind paying for a really good program if neccesary.

I only chop and splice voice; however Audacity is in the repositories and has some advanced features. If your looking for more complex or professional level stuff have a look at :

The audio programs can be installed from synaptic (ubuntustudio-audio) into you regular Ubuntu set up. They've got it all, drum machines, mixers, virtual PA heads, effects boards you name it...
