Has anyone managed to get uplink running? I'm struggling to get the right version of libstdc++ installed.

Just so you know I have exactly the same problem but the demo works fine,

OK, I have uplink working on Hoary using the Uplink 1.31 Dynamic Patch and from ubuntu repositories the libstdc++2.10-glibc2.2 and libsdl-mixer1.2 packages.

Works fine, at last! Only took around 3 hours the figure this one out ;)

Check the version, click on the repo, then goto Packages and select Force Version and choose the one lower than the version you have now, should be stable enough with the dependencies and repo's you have now.

I've since reinstalled so I now have a fresh hoary installation, but I've not tried uplink on it yet.

Thanks for the tips. I'll be giving it a try soon.
