Desktop Resolution in Lubuntu

I am not able to go above 800 x 600 resolution under LINUX.
It is dual boot machine with Win XP.
Under Win XP, the screen resolution can be set above 800 x 600.

How do i do it in Lubuntu.

OP, Have you installed a graphics driver? What are your hardware specs?

The system is P-III . Windows is taking 1024 x 768 resolution, but not Ubuntu.

As such I do not have the hardware drivers for LINUX
