View Full Version : Help with GT 430, display is distorted

Hello,

I am trying out a MSI Geforce GT 430 the exact card is shown in the below link

After the install I proceeded to update the graphics card by activating the latest recommended drivers via the restricted drivers window.

After the drivers were updated, I think it was version 260.19.06? I might be mistaken... Anyways everything was distorted/pixelated. The output source is HDMI to a lg lcd tv.
I never had this problem with the geforce 210.

I then updated the drivers to 290.19.36 and still have the same problem. You can better see what I am talking about in the screen shots below.

I don't know if you can see but take a look at the google symbol. That's one of the things I am talking about.
And you can see that "applications" doesn't even fit in the panel bar.

The tv setting is on scan for the ratio. I've tried 16:9 and 4:3

So what do I do to fix the problem lol?
Any help greatly appreciated.
