its possible to install windows drivers on ubuntu using ndiswrapper but its limited only to windows xp drivers. i am working on a project to introduce virtual wifi technology to ubuntu. i have got incomplete source code from their website on research.microsoft.com. i got the inf file of the driver but when i loaded it using ndiswrapper it always returned "invalid file" error. the thing is if i'm able to load the driver it saves me alot of work otherwise i have to code the entire driver for ubuntu. im a beginner in driver production. and the project has a deadline for march 30th. can anyone help me out?
