ERROR OAFID:GNOME_NotificationAreaApplet

I booted up Ubuntu 10.10 this morning and an error popped up saying "The Panel encountered a problem while loading "OAFID:GNOME_NotificationAreaApplet" Do you want to delete that applet from your configuration?". I hit the Don't Delete button, but and everything seems to be working correctly, but can somebody tell me what that means? I am new to ununtu and I am not sure what some of the errors mean. Attached is a screen shot of the error message, that I captured.

I got exactly the same thing. But I don't know what that applet is either...

I haven't had the error since, so I am, dangerously, assuming that it fixed itself, or it was just a minor glitch.
