what exactly is the command to extract fox 4 and get it running

its in my Downloads folder

What exactly is "Fox 4"? The only thing I can come up with in searches are sites for Channel 4 FOX in various cities.

Also, in what format is this "fox 4" in? Is it a .deb file? A .tar.bz file?

Need more information.

double click on the file, that should open a graphical tool to extract the archive.

There are detailed instructions here:

that extracts a directory, firefox. you then run firfox from there


~/firefox/firefox

Or you can create a launcher.
