Hi all. A newbie here. On yesterday I installed Ubuntu from my CD. I choose the option during installation to run along side windows. Well when its all said and done, I don't see an option to switch between the 2. Did I do something wrong? All I seem to have is Ubuntu. Is windows on my laptop still? Thanks in advance

could you post the result of the bootinfoscript
(get the script and instructions from http://bootinfoscript.sourceforge.net/ )

also see if the the windows partition is listed under the places menu (referred by size or label: not C: )

If you prefer using the GUI, you can also go to Places > Home - you should get a file explorer window where Windows will be listed as an additional drive on the right (probably not called Windows though; I'm at work at the minute but I think mine is called something like "20GB File System").

Still run the boot script after though. :)
