View Full Version : OS X Frontend not responding

Finally got all my Xmas presents installed and functioning (HVR-1600, Blu-ray drive, etc)!

So my mythbuntu 10.10 backend is setup and working perfectly, as far as I know. I have installed mythtv .23 fronend for os x on my mac mini and it is working great. However when I install the same thing on my girlfriends 27" imac, things don't go as smoothly.

After the setup screen, it connects to the database and brings me to the main screen, but if I select watch TV, it hangs on "please wait" and remains unresponsive. The only thing I can do is force close the frontend.

If I try to watch a recording, it shows me a white screen for a few seconds and then kicks back to the recordings screen.

I'm not sure if this is a codec issue or what. Both macs are running the same version of of os x and mythfrontend, but only the older mini is able to watch tv or recording.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
