Orca Magnifier Locking On Attempted Activation

I installed Orca

It gets to the magnifier tab ok, then states the activate box is unchecked.

When I try to check it my machine locks

P4 under Ubuntu 10.04, Firefox with HiVis 3.6 theme and custom page colors.

Try Kmag. I like it better anyway. Still sucks compared to the joy of using those rare programs that respect the system font settings but better than nothing.
