Ok so whenever I try to install over the other os, which I want, The Install hangs up just before finishing...
I can figure out how to take screen shots, or I'd show exactly where...
Any Ideas on what is happening?
Thank you for the help...

How are you trying to install? From CD? Have you always been trying to install from the same CD? You might want to check the MD5 sum (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/HowToMD5SUM) of the downloaded image, try burning the CD at low speed (e.g. 8x), check the CD after burning, then try installing from that new CD.

Also, have you always chosen "install ubuntu next to an existing OS" or something like that? You might want to try the manual partitioning route, we can help you with the options.
