I used to have FoxitReader on Windows and have been missing it so I was pleased to find there is now a Linux download.
I downloaded it as a tar.gz file and extracted it. The program opens from the cogwheel symbol in the folder without any further installation, which surprised me.
It works nicely and I have been able to put a launcher on the panel but it does not show up as an application I can open a document with. I have to launch the program first then open the document from File which is a bit slow. Is there a way round this?
