mouse and keyboard freezes at login screen

my mouse and keyboard freezes at login screen after i updated the system.before the update system was working fine.can anybody help me..

If it is USB, check your legacy USB settings in BIOS. It may be a coincidence, but I had to do this today after an update

its not usb.my mouse and keyboard is working perfectly with xp.
