Command line File Server

I want to set up a command line file server and was wondering if anyone could help me out? I just wanted to be able to access the file server from a few clients and move files around in the network wireless and wired.

Depending on what clients you are serving, you can use Samba, NFS or SSHFS.

I've used Samba, but NFS is way easier to set up.
