hello,
i am a relitivley new programmer and would like to know what i would need to do to get ubuntu server to boot up into a very basic gui. basically when the computer boots i would like it to boot into a java program i have made. the program does have basic graphics.
the computer that the program will have an Intel atom 1.6 ghz 1 gb ram 8gb SSD and a 7 inch 800 x 480 resoloution touchscreen monitor
there will be other hardware all with native linux support
the program itself is still in testing but i would like to have it ready to install it on a computer meeting thoes specs. i will be testing on a virtual machine before going to physical hardware
